Virendra Kumar Sinha of Motihari, Bihar got tired of constant complains from his neighbors about his noisy diesel generator, a scourge in power-started India.

As a result, Mr. Sinha spent 6 years to develop a unique silencer-cum-filter mechanism for generators, which also helps reduce Carbon Monoxide emissions and he has got a patent for his invention. His mechanism was tested succefully at the Birla Institute of Technology.
