James Randi (stage name “) began his career as an illusionist, escapologist, and a stage magician. In 1956, he broke Harry Houdini’s record of 93 minutes inside a sealed metal coffin that had been submerged in a swimming pool, by staying in it for 104 minutes.

James Randi has offered one million US dollars to anyone who could demonstrate supernatural or paranormal ability. The offer lasted for over 50 years and no one was successfully able to claim it.
