Solutions on bringing the two Americas together after this most divisive of elections: How do we mend the divide in our country (US)?

1. Listen to each other. Let somebody you disagree with speak with you having an open mind. Instead of trying to counter them, try asking questions to help you understand why.

2. Stop calling liberals commies who want free shit. Stop calling conservatives bigoted idiots. If people learned why people think the way they do we'd be able to come together easier.

...This is probably the hardest thing to do, but it's basically the only thing being said here that has any chance of working. Both sides have legitimate concerns and both sides have legitimate complaints about the other.
