They thought they would silence the media just by threatening and then suing for defamation. But when lawyers for The Wire were ready in court, Jay Shah's lawyers were not prepared. His lawyer SV Raju was busy in the high court.

Jay Shah / Piyush Goyal /Government were quick to threat and sue, but when it came to fo face to face in court, Shah said he was given “unreasonable time to respond”.
