Android and Windows tablet often come with microSD card slots. You can use microSD cards as additional storage on some media streamers, Chromebooks, and Windows laptops.

Although all microSD cards come with an adapter to use in a full-size SD card slot,  experts suggest you shouldn’t use a microSD card in an adapter as a replacement for an SD card, because microSD cards are slower and less cost effective than full-size SD cards.
