The Best Drones

On July 17, 2018 By newsroom Topic: Best Products

Drones have become popular because we can use them to  bird’s-eye-view photos and videos , something which was unthinkable before. Drones are able to take your camera in wild, inaccessible places easily.

Rules for drones:  In December 2015, the FAA made it mandatory to register drones between 0.55 pound and 55 pounds in weight, and they can only used  for educational or recreational purposes. The new FAA rules also say that if you want to take pictures / videos to sell them later, you must pass a written test to earn a pilot’s license.

FAA drone flying rules in brief:

  • Do not fly directly over people, or within five miles of an airport (unless you ask for permission).
  • Keep the drone in sight and below 400 feet.
  • Do not charge people money for your flights.
  • Do not fly a drone in any of the 401 units of the U.S. National Park system
