Study Finds That Drinking a Can of Sugary Soda Every Day Increases Your Risk For Prediabetes

A study done by USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University in Boston, where they analyzed 1700 middle-aged adults over 14 years, says that if you drink a daily can of sugar-sweetened beverage, you have a 46 percent increased risk of developing prediabetes. Remember: A soda bottle contains upto 12 packets of sugar, where 1 packet is sufficient to sweeten a cup of coffee.
