It is almost a cliche to say that the internet is a goldmine of great educational information. In the post-web 2.0 age, the internet has also become a great repository for useful educational videos, presentations and podcasts.

The question is: How do we know what to search for and what sites to search on?

I have tried to make things easy for you.

1. What sites to search:
First, I created a simple customized Google search engine that only searches the top Video websites alongwith the dominant presentation website, Slideshare.

2. What Topics to search:
Given below is the topic list from The Success Manual (aka The Encyclopedia of Advice). It includes almost all the important self-help and business topics.

What both Youtube and Slideshare have done is that both these sites will show a really useful list of related videos (or presentations, in Slideshare's case), which helps you explore more.

Moreover, big educational institutions have created a whole series of videos on a topic, say writing. That also helps a lot.

Now, The Success Manual Table of Contents. Use this to search the video sites. IMHO, this is one of the best way to teach youself online, don't you think? I have also included some of the book titles summarized in the book.
