Transitioning your music library from iTunes to an Android device is straightforward. Follow these steps to enjoy your tunes seamlessly:
Install Google Play Music on Your Android Device:
- Download the app from the Google Play Store (it may already be pre-installed).
Download Google Play Music Manager:
- On your computer (Mac or PC), download Google Play Music Manager from the Google Play Music website.
Upload Your iTunes Library:
- Use Music Manager to upload your iTunes library to Google Music. You can store up to 50,000 songs for free in the cloud.
Access Your Library on Android:
- Once uploaded, your iTunes songs and playlists will be available for streaming or download on your Android phone through the Google Play Music app.
Note: Uploading large libraries can take several hours. Prevent interruptions by adjusting your computer’s sleep settings.
If you’re subscribed to Apple Music, there’s no need to transfer your music manually:
Install the Apple Music App:
- Download Apple Music from the Google Play Store on your Android device.
Log Into Your Apple Account:
- Sign in with your Apple ID to access your music, playlists, and streaming options.
