Scott hanselman says a solution to this age of information (mostly useless) flood (sounds better than overload) is that 'It’s Not What You Read; It’s What You Ignore. ' He appears to be pointing us to the 80:20 rule (focus on few things that give most returns) when he says that 'productivity isn't about doing everything; it's about doing the right things and ignoring the rest.'
