How The Media Can Regain its Glory in Trump era

On November 12, 2016 By newsroom Topic: Trump-presidency

Remember, way back in 2008, when Jon Stewart couldn't think of good wasy to make fun of Obama. Remember the Bush (jr) era being a golden age of news comedy shows.

This new Trump era gives media organization an oppntunity to step up: Be vigilant, be more demanding and be interesting (this is very important).

It is sad that both Stewart and Gawker are gone. Someone will have to step up and take on the DOnald, much as Samantha Bee and Bill Maher are doing.

Who will replace Gawker (if it ever can be replaced) now?

From the internet:

Covering President Trump will require fearless, deep journalism, news organizations willing to fund court battles, and help from some heroes
Botched election predictions don't mean the end of data journalism, which most publishers use to analyze tangibles like test scores and government agency data
