Be Remarkable #89: Find your passion

On October 25, 2016 By thesuccessmanual Topic: Remarkable

For most working people, that is you and me, passion comes in form of making a living doing what you love, or in some cases, getting to love what you do. As the song goes, "Love the one you are with."

Anyway, how do you discover your passion? A checklist of things you can do, in two parts.

Know thyself [Write these four headings on a sheet and put your thinking cap on)
1. What are you good at?
2. What excites you?
3. What do you read about?
4. What have you secretly dreamed of?

Work at it
5. Learn, ask, take notes.
6. Experiment, try: Aka Learnng by doing.
7. Narrow things down:Your focus determines your reality, as they say.
8. Banish your fears: Passion without consequences? Never.
9. Find the time: And once you have found your passion, you do the 10000 hours with it, work at it, improve at it, until you are really good at it.

P.S. Checklist is a summary of a post on Zenhabits.net.
