Matt Mcgee has written a good post about various types of local bloggers. It is a nice introductin to a field that holds much promise in a post-newspapers era.

Then there are three others which add valuable context and zeal to blogging: the angry bloggers [who track government activity], the activist bloggers [who track government and corporate activity], the insider bloggers [people with inside knowldege of something].
