To stay healthy, run a hundred micro-marathons: And do the 10,000 steps a day

On March 6, 2012 By thesuccessmanual Topic: Health, Fitness

Although it is recommended that we walk 10000+ (roughly five miles of walking) steps day, most of use barely do half of that daily. So, what do we do? My suggestion: break it down. Run a 100 micro-marathons throughout the day. Every hour, try to walk briskly at 80 steps/minute for 10 minutes - that's 800 steps. Do this 12 times during the day, and you have made your 10,000 steps a day. Just find an excuse to move.
