Tamilnadu activist charged with sedition for writing against the river-linking project

While in Tiruchy jail for 42 days for leading the Anti-Methane Project, T Jayaraman wrote a small 48-page book against river-interlinking, titled 'Nadhigal Inaippum Aarugalai Pidingi Virkkum India' (Interlinking of rivers and India that snatches and sells rivers), which sold 100-odd copies. 

However, a case has been booked against him under section 153 B (1)(b) of The Indian Penal Code for speaking against sovereignty and national integration.
