In his quest to take higher education in India to a new level of excellence, Prime Minister ManMohan Singh called upon universities in the country to achieve global standards.Inaugurating Scholarship Fund instituted by the Kerala Higher Education Council in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday, the PM informed that a Central University in the state could be developed as a centre of international repute.
