Professional announcers, speech pathologists, broadcasters and actors are not only ones who make money from their voice. Doing narration is becoming a promising vocation if you learn to modulate your voice through some voice coaching - start with copying the style of news announcers. Did you know that doing voices for commercials forms only 10% of this business? The real money (90% of the voicing business) is in doing “narrative voiceovers” - for audio books, training and educational materials, video game voices, television documentaries and biographies, Internet videos, recorded telephone messages.

Did you also know that according to research, people find a Southern voice more trustworthy? (hello Tommy Lee Jones). The southern accent sounds more down-to-earth and real.
