How to be remarkable #137: Turn off the computer

On October 25, 2016 By thesuccessmanual Topic: Remarkable

The computer screen holds us glued to it. We wanted to finish writing somethinng but let's search Google for something, let's check out what's up with friends on facebook, let's find who abused whom on Twitter?...the giant internet pipe keeps pumping batch after batch of info.chunks, and takes over our life from us. Turn away. It is all air, it will blow away. It doesn't care about you. Do something important:

“Turn off the computer. Often, an open computer screen distracts us from other activities. Our eye catches a glimpse of something and before you know it, we’re back at the desk and surfing away.”

- James Chartrand
