The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court, on Monday, has stayed the admission of a public interest litigation (PIL) that challenged the implementation of 50 percent reservation in private engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh till September 3 and banned the admission process in engineering colleges affiliated to the Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU).
