In what appears to be a snub against Mayawati, and her policy of naming institutions after BSP icons such as BR Ambedkar and Kansi Ram, The the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is yet to approve four engineering colleges named after them even as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) started the process of counseling students for admissions in the state’s technical colleges.
